Ursula has been in the infant mental health field as a researcher and educator since 1997 and began working directly with families with young children in 2015.  Ursula earned her doctorate in developmental psychology from the University of Washington (UW) in 2003, including a Certificate in Infant Mental Health and her Masters in Social Work from UW in 2017.  Prior to working for Cooper House, Ursula worked for Wellspring Family Services and Kindering Center.
