Which training is right for you?

You have never taken FAN and want to learn more:

  • This is a 2 to 3-hour overview of the FAN’s core processes for those who are not ready to commit to a full training. It can also serve as a refresher for those who have already taken a full training.

  • This is a complimentary, 1-hour glimpse of FAN and its value to your work, an orientation to the 7-month training experience, and a description of the practitioner and supervisor trainings. There will be time for your questions.

You have never taken FAN and are ready to sign up for a full training:

  • This training is for teams of providers who support caregivers of young children. Direct service providers and their supervisors typically attend together. The training is most impactful when you attend as a team, so you can support each other in integrating the FAN concepts into your work.

  • This training focuses on strengthening the supervisor-supervisee relationship, resulting in supervisors and supervisees who are more reflective and collaborative, as well as supervisors who are more engaged and less stressed. Enrollment is intentionally limited to 16 participants, who are partnered for mentoring, to allow supervisors to connect with each other around shared experiences.

You have taken FAN and are looking for more opportunities:

  • This is a monthly, 60- to 90-minute FAN-focused reflective consultation group. We offer communities of practice for supervisors, direct service providers and those who identify as BIPOC providers.

  • This 2 or 3-hour session offers FAN-trained professionals a deep dive into a specific FAN topic. Participants will practice applying one or more core processes with the guidance of a trainer.
