Betty Peralta
MIT, MS-MHC, IMHM-C®

Trainer & Mentor

Betty is a mental health and education specialist who supports parents and professionals in meeting the needs of children and families—while also caring for their own. In addition to training the FAN, she serves as faculty for the NeuroRelational Framework, a culturally inclusive, trauma-informed approach to healing toxic stress and building resilience.

She is a co-founder of Children in Bloom, a training, coaching, and consultation practice for the important adults of outstanding children—kids who stand out because of neurospiciness, trauma histories, or medical and mental health complexity. Betty is also the author of What to Tell Them—Friends, Family, and the School—About Your Child’s Behavior, available for free at ChildrenInBloom.org
